As part of the Narnia illustrations, I illustrated the trees and plants of Narnia that are mentioned in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe as spring returns with the weakening of the Witch's power. These plants and trees are mostly common in the British Isles, so that they would be familiar to Lewis's original readers.
